What happens when European projects, researchers, companies and innovation communities come together around a shared opportunity?
At Syxis, we believe that a strong European innovation ecosystem is built not only through individual projects, but through the connections between them.
This is one of the ideas behind AI4Manufacturing, the community hub connecting projects and stakeholders working at the intersection of new technologies and manufacturing. Through the community, Syxis supports the exchange of knowledge, experiences and opportunities, creating spaces where projects can meet, learn from each other and identify possibilities for collaboration.
And sometimes, these connections lead to something very concrete.
Turning community connections into new opportunities
With the next Horizon Europe Cluster 4 – Digital, Industry and Space calls approaching, the question is not only which calls are relevant? It is also:
Who should we work with to address them?
This is where collaboration across the community becomes particularly valuable.
AI4Manufacturing is joining forces with CREDIT, a project and active member of the community, to organise an online webinar dedicated to the upcoming Cluster 4 opportunities and to the process of building strong, complementary consortia.
The initiative reflects a broader approach that Syxis brings to its community activities: creating the conditions for projects and organisations to connect before a proposal is written, rather than only when a consortium already exists.
The webinar will provide a space to explore relevant calls together, discuss the expertise and profiles needed for future proposals, and identify potential connections between participants.
A webinar shaped by the community
The session will not follow a rigid list of predefined topics.
When registering, participants will be invited to indicate the Cluster 4 calls they are most interested in exploring. Their input will help shape the discussion, allowing the session to focus on the opportunities that are most relevant to the people and organisations taking part.
Together with CREDIT, the AI4Manufacturing community will explore:
- the scope and objectives of the selected calls;
- key requirements and expectations;
- potential consortium profiles and partner needs;
- opportunities for collaboration and matchmaking;
- how organisations can position themselves for upcoming proposals.
The goal is not simply to provide information about funding opportunities, but to create a space for exchange, engagement and potential collaboration.
From learning together to building together
For Syxis, community building is closely connected to co-creation.
Projects generate knowledge, technologies, methodologies and new ideas. But their impact can grow further when these results and experiences are connected with other initiatives, complementary expertise and new stakeholders.
Through AI4Manufacturing, Syxis works to facilitate these connections across the European manufacturing ecosystem – supporting clustering, knowledge exchange, engagement and opportunities for future collaboration.
The collaboration with CREDIT is another step in this direction: bringing community members together around a shared challenge and turning a funding opportunity into a starting point for new connections.
And the next Cluster 4 calls provide the perfect context to do it.
Join the AI4Manufacturing & CREDIT webinar
The webinar will take place online on 17 September at 10:00 AM CET and participation is free of charge, with registration required.
During registration, participants can also indicate which Cluster 4 calls they would like the discussion to address.

Whether you are already working on a consortium, looking for complementary partners, or simply exploring where your organisation could contribute, the session is designed as a space to exchange, connect and explore future opportunities together. Because for Syxis, building the next generation of European innovation projects starts with something simple.
