AUTOTWIN

Data-driven method based on a process mining approach for Automated Digital Twin generation, operations, and maintenance in circular value chains.

AUTO-TWIN aims to address the limitations of current system engineering models, ntroducing a breakthrough method for automated process-aware discovery towards autonomous Digital Twins generation. 

This is done by adopting a common data space, based on International Data Space (IDS), which enables the automated process of creating Digital Twins, (digital replicas of physical systems), thus making this process more efficient and cost-effective. 

Furthermore, AUTO-TWIN integrates new hardware technologies into the digital thread, which is a key component in creating Digital Twins, to generate smart Green Gateways. 

Syxis in the project: 

Syxis has a big role in AUTO-TWIN project.  

It’s involved in the definition and development of the project software architecture and of the integration guidelines that will be used by all partners during their developments. 

Then Syxis is responsible of the Twin Edge and Twin Legacy. Main goal is to connect MES of pilots to other higher level management systems to facilitate the exchange of data, alarms, recommendations,… 

Moreover, Syxis is leader of the Twin Data Enrichment and Access Management System and of the Digital Track and Trace. The first one guarantees to take care and to manage time-series data enriched by context and metadata for all the end users. The second one permit the track and trace of variables per pilots.  

Syxis is in charge also to develop profilers tools: worker and production, in order to assess the skill gap of a worker in relation to the technological skill needs driven by AI revolution and what international competence databases define as standards for her/his professional role. Production profiler assess the technological distance between the production system archetype selected by the firm and its actual one.  

With the Augmented Intelligence Twin Syxis will develop the User Interface of the project. 

Syxis will ensure that the project is fully compliant with all applicable legal, ethical and societal rules, make assessment and oversight activities relevant to the project impact on society and from a legal standpoint. 

Syxis will identify the opportunities to contribute to the European AI community, associations, and clusters, and will involve the project in the AI4Manufacturing Community, dedicated to the maximisation of the impact of European R&D and R&I projects working in the domain of the Artificial Intelligence applied to the Manufacturing, towards the dissemination and exploitation of up-to-date information, sharing knowledge, results and tools for an innovative and digitalised EU manufacturing industry. 

The initiative supports the EU projects in the networking and clustering activities, to foster cross-fertilisation in the EU based digital innovation domain, by connecting people, linking companies and research institutions, and forging new partnerships, strengthening the innovation capacity of new projects.
