The data collection process is essential, requiring careful planning of how, when, and where data will be gathered to meet the needs of the intended analysis, research, or operations.

Gathering methodology offers an instrument to be used to gather requirements. It could be applied to functional and technical requirements through a collaborative approach with pilots, adopting a bottom-up or a top-down approach depending on the level of involvement of the partners..

To run the data requirement collection, we elaborated an internal artifact composed of 13 sections, that allows us to:

• Obtain a comprehensive overview of the data management along the project activities;

• Identify technical specifications for assessing technology selection and deploying the configuration of our digital solutions.
