Software infrastructure for optimized management of Big Data streams from the field.

Kharon is an industrial IoT software module for communication between different IT modules (Gateways, Edge, AI modules, etc.), big-data management, for machinery, industrial and non-industrial assets. ​

Strengths:

• Device / gateway integration: it allows a good degree of flexibility in how the data can be sent from the field to the cloud platform, posing some rules to enable an adequate level of security and usability of the data collected.​
• It exploits IoT big-data storage and broker functionalities providing more virtual hosts that enable publishing / subscribing mechanism for sensor data asynchronous communication.​
• It enables connection with knowledge extraction, Analytics, AI, sw elaboration tools supporting diagnostics and prognostics. ​
